Research & Development (R&D)

Plastia understand research and development as a basic driver for evolution. It's a matter of risk but it's unavoidable for any company aiming to adapt to changes imposed by market.

Our R&D activities point to three directions:

Technology.- Usage of new challenging technologies or, why not?, reusage of those abandoned in the past for being precocious.

Users.- All known technologies have room in all the industrial sectors. The problems arise when they are introduced not in the proper moment, not in the proper way. IT must be patient and receptive to user demands and opportunities.

Functionalities.- Applications have the power of changing human procedures. Those changes leading to improvement (efficiency and user satisfaction) are really welcome.

With these basic research directives Plastia strives to develop the most suitable solutions in each case and most of the times in the framework of public funded projects (a really needed way for assuming part of the risk entailed by R&D).
